It's nice to feel productive again, even if it's just for a few months. Thw money's a nice touch too, but seriously, the biggest benefit of working a day job again is that I feel like I'm actually effective at the work and produce measureable results. It's not like the guitars don't do that for me too, mind, but I made the mistake of taking too many orders for the same kind of guitar and it's gotten very repetitive.

The commute in is about as bad as it can get for the distance but surprisingly it;s not bothered me yet. I suspect in three months I'll be swearing a blue streak every morning though.
