The Answer is...
"No. And it'll cost you!"

40 years ago a man asked a simple question, anticipating a life full of ups and downs, trials and tribulations, having money and being broke,  just being a normal guy with a wife. He loved his, and for 29 years spent a total of 9 days apart from her.

And then she died.

But he soldiered on, with good faith, good cheer, and good intentions, doing the best he could, just wanting to be happy and not alone. It was all he really asked.

Today is Sir Paul McCartney's 64th birthday. In 1965 he wrote 'When I'm 64' for his father James, who would turn 64 in 1966. It was a pleasant song, a fun song, lots of oboe and ragtime piano and a good lilt to it. It employed good imagery, universal themes of love and family, and grandkids. How could it miss? And it didn't.
But it always made me wonder if Paul would make it to 64 with his heart intact.

I feel bad that his own 64th is spent among all the brou-haha of his divorce. I wish it had worked out for him the second time around as well as it had the first.

Sorry, Paul, the answer was 'No.' But please, please don't let this change your outlook on life.
Happy Birthday.
