Memorial Day isn't just another chance to get drunk at a picnic.

Know what Memorial Day is? A time to remember the DEAD. A time to honor the people who've made the ultimate sacrifice. Its' not a time to talk trash. It's a time to pay respect.

You don't really get the true meaning of Memorial Day until you see a man who's lived his life in the service of his country mourn the loss of his life's companions and friends, in bunches, then little by little, over a period of 65 years, from his late teens to his mid-80's.  His entire life..

Respect for those not here, honor for those who remain.

And nothing else. No bullshit political agendas, no alternate celebrations, no artificial or fake or plastic or lip service.


Respect the dead. Honor the living.
