It's raining a good solid rain tonight. And I just love it. Oh how I LOVE the rain. I can't explain why, I just do. I went out in it and let it hit my shoulders; the water's warm and soft and refreshing and magic. I listened to it outside, heard it hitting the leaves in the trees and the shingles on the roof, and the hood of the vehicles parked on the street. It sounds so cool. Even indoors, it sounds cool. I can hear it hit the roof, and the sun room is like my own private under-the-waterfall room. Half the roof is glass, and it bends down to become a wall, and the water hits the glass with a lovely plunk and starts heading down the glass to th ewall. When it hits the wall it;s got enough speed built up to look like the uinderside of a waterfall. I just love that room when it rains!  I have a skylight in the master bedroom as well, the ain hits it with a different sound, still a great sound but more restful, restrained, like a lullabye.

Yep. I just love the rain. I could live somewhere where it rains 300 days a year.
