Mad Eye Moody, otherwise known as Irish actor Brendan Gleeson, has this to say about the situation:

“I really don’t want to personalise it, it’s not my story, it’s a whole generation. We’ve become a nation of greedy pigs, devouring our parents.”

He was talking about the problem in Ireland. IT's more of a 'Our Emergency Rooms are filthy and my parents were treated poorly' thing but it's wrapped up in the same issue.
